HOT STONE THERAPY MASSAGE - Very warm, soothing, smooth, mineral rich basalt stones glide over the body with heated oil, using traditional massage techniques, chakra balancing and Reiki, effectively creating positive energy flow, balance and harmony within the mind, body & spirit, while relieving tension in your tired, aching muscles, to totally de-stress your body.

...You begin your journey by reclining on a series of flat hot stones that trace your spine. Your skin welcomes their therapeutic energy like ripples in a pool of water. Within minutes, your body and mind begin to trust and respond to the sensations. Your breathing slows as warm oils are applied to your skin, the therapist, with hot stones in hands, rhythmically glide across your meridian lines. The waves of heat surprise your senses, quickly converting to bliss. The sensation of 'a thousand hands' sweep the energy throughout your body.

Heated Chakra stones align and balance your energy centres, sending their healing properties deep into your core. Beginning at the leg, the stones seamlessly glide, relaxing any tension, up the thigh and along the side of the torso .... up, then down .... and again.  Coin-sized stones are lightly wedged between your toes, radiating heat as your leg becomes cradled in the warm blanket.

Upper and lower arms receive the same loving touch, massaging right to your fingertips, all in a delicate, non-stop ritual. Large stones are gently cradled in your palms as you become enveloped in the soft, warm blanket.

Your chest and shoulders receive the same mindful practice. Clearing the lymph system of any toxins.  Delicate attention is paid to the face, ears and sinus points, calming any remaining stresses until they melt away. Warm oils and velvety smooth stones glide up and down your neck and shoulders, culminating in a relaxing head massage and Reiki healing.  You completely lose track of where the therapist's hands end and the velvety-soft stones begin.  Hot towels cradle your face, removing any impurities from the outside world.

As the first half of the treatment concludes, your body welcomes more to come. As you gently turn to rest upon your stomach, you receive a relaxing reflexology foot massage and warm stones are placed upon the soles of your feet.

A large, flat, hot stone is carefully placed on the towel, just above the tail bone. A sequence of synchronized movements follow the peaks and curves of your body, careful not to cross your spine or come in contact with bones and joints. More heated stones caress and massage every inch of your body with warmth and sedation. 

The therapist gently guides you through the treatment to a world beyond.  It's as if Mother Nature is healing you with her own tender hands......healing and balancing your mind, body and spirit.
